Introducing our customers to exceptional throws through their finish, colour, quality, and/or design is our primary intention. By working with artisans who possess real experience and admirable expertise, we pursue this objective that is close to our hearts. It is by forging close relationships with our three manufacturers in England, Wales, and Scotland that we have succeeded in developing one of the most remarkable collections of wool Scottish throws.
Discover in these few lines why we are so proud of our collection.
1. Three workshops for our unique collection of Scottish throws
Year after year, our interest in Scottish throws with exceptional patterns and colours has intensified. These throws, both elegant and rich in history, have won us over. Perfecting our tartan collection has become a kind of obsession. These wool blankets with iconic patterns connect tradition and innovation. Respecting tradition and valuing ancestral techniques, they have always managed to reinvent themselves to stay up-to-date. For some customers, they are "Proust's madeleines"; others choose them because these throws, evocative of travel and wild landscapes, make them dream and exude much chic. We understand, we totally agree, and it is for all these reasons that we pay so much attention to them.

2. Our Scottish spinning mill crafts our luxury Scottish throws from A to Z.
Ancestral expertise
It is in our workshop located in the Highlands of Scotland that we manufacture our luxury Scottish blankets. The quality of the selected wool, the techniques used to transform the raw material, the subtle colours, and the unique reversible Scottish patterns make these pieces, produced with the greatest care, little wonders.
This manufacturer, which works with the biggest luxury brands and supplies members of the English royal family, is renowned worldwide for its great expertise. It is a family business that was created over 200 years ago and has developed unique expertise from generation to generation.
All manufacturing steps are carried out in the factory, which is very rare. From the reception of raw fibres to the folding of the blankets, artisans attentive to the smallest detail ensure the making of these very high-end Scottish throws.
Exceptional patterns
The subtle colours in shades of blue, heather, green, red, ochre… are extraordinary. They are what attract our customers at first glance. They are very elegant and evoke the wild landscapes of this northern country.
Then, when you take the time to look more closely, you discover a reversible design with one side of the throw having a very distinct Scottish design and the other side having a lighter checkered pattern. Each throw simply reinvents itself by changing its arrangement. Whether it's the mauve Scottish Heritage throw or the luxury reversible Stewart Scottish throw, each has two faces that are both different and complementary.
Each year, we develop new throws, innovating in both patterns and colour combinations. Highly sought after by our customers, these throws blend into most interiors with great elegance.
3. Our Yorkshire manufacturing facility, 180 years of expertise and a commitment to increasingly responsible production.
Tradition and innovation
For nearly 10 years, with our spinning mill located in Yorkshire, in the centre of England, we have been developing two collections of Scottish throws.
On one hand, there are the traditional throws, the timeless classics that are always in high demand. These are made based on historical designs of Scottish clans such as the Royal Stewart throw, the Dark Maple, or the Black Watch.
On the other hand, there is our collection of reinterpreted Scottish throws with reinvented designs and more contemporary colours. Our favourites are the Melbourne Scottish throws.
Depending on the range, we weave them either in beautiful, authentic, and durable Shetland wool or in very soft and comfortable superior merino wool. These wools are Woolmark certified, meaning they comply with precise specifications that involve healthy production. Quality wools for throws that are just as high in quality.
This exceptional English spinning mill is also what is called a "vertical" manufacturer, meaning it controls all stages of production.
Towards more sustainable production
The wool we use is 100% traceable and produced with respect for the health and comfort of the sheep.
We work to improve production to minimise wool waste during the different stages of throw manufacturing.
The factory invests annually to improve its production tools to consume less energy, less water, and be more efficient.
Additionally, 10% of the spinning mill's energy is generated by 300 solar panels installed on the site.
Regarding packaging, we are working to minimise its use on-site and recycle as much as possible what is used.

4. Our Welsh workshop weaves colourful and affordable throws.
Located in North Wales, drawing all its inspiration from the wild landscapes surrounding it, our latest manufacturing facility is younger and more dynamic. Here, we weave our traditional throws in 100% pure, thick, warm, and comfortable wool.
This manufacturing facility, along the River Dee, is only 40 years old but shows great creativity and is very attentive to the expectations of young consumers. We rely on their expertise to develop our range of affordable throws.
We work confidently with a highly involved team on the range of traditional Scottish throws, and it is also with this team that we develop our throws with sometimes natural and often brighter colours. Warm, comfortable, and affordable, our throws from The Mill collection are increasingly popular with our customers. Our favourites are the navy chevron wool throw and the yellow beehive wool throw.
